Its thoughtful menu selections, welcoming environment, and consistent quality promise an experience that feels both familiar and delightfully satisfying time after time.
Excellent food, drinks, and service. Lots of games on to watch. I had a flatbread pizza, and it was excellent . I like bars to have a little dimmer lighting, but thats me. A geat sports pub!
Pot roast sandwich was great. Cheese curds were different than I expected but still good. They were cubed instead of a natural curd shape. Seasoned Sidewinders weren’t what I expected. They were more of a fresh cut wedge than what I was thinking. From the description I was thinking almost like the spiral ribbon fries you would get at a fair. Also they weren’t seasoned with anything other than salt.
This restaurant has always been busy when we go there. I had the build your own burger and my boyfriend had the deep fried cod. We were both very pleased with our meals. We would definitely go back. There is plenty of parking and it is handicap accessible.
I enjoy Point After Pub & Grill alot. The food was good- I got the chicken sandwich with fries. I love a place with good seasoned fries. The menu prices are fair that is usually what brings us back. But overall, service is good and the location is clean & welcoming.
Service was quick and friendly. The food was really good. The home made chips are worth the visit. As a one time, out of town visitor, it looked like there was a strong regular clientele. I had pulled pork bbq. Les had a chicken sandwich. All were very tasty.
I was in town for family and decided to meet some friends here for a later dinner. Honestly, it was across from the hotel I was staying at and I picked it at random. Sometimes randomness works! Walking in, it appeared to be a typical Wisconsin bar - kids, Old Fashioneds everywhere, and fish fry platters. Sitting down, it turned out to be a typical Wisconsin bar - kids, Old Fashioned drinks, and fish fry platters. This is exactly what I wanted! True to my roots, I got the Rhubarb Old Fashioned and my typical huge water. I then got the Ceaser chicken wrap, as I wanted something light and not fried. My friends got the sliders, onion rings, and pretzels as entrées. The food came out in short order and it was rather tasty! The wrap was just the right size and the chicken was moist and delicious. My friend said the sliders were really great and his girlfriend said the pretzels were warm and fluffy. They both devoured the onion rings, so they must have been delicious. Overall, it was a nice experience and if I were in the area again, I would definitely stop for a bite and drink!
Solid 4*. Spur of the moment Friday lunchtime fish fry. Wasn't terrible, but not worthy of 5* either. Batter was soft and the whole plate just looked a bit flat and sorry for itself. Made myself a chip butty with the excellent bread and that was the highlight. Decent beer selection. The place itself is large, airy and appealing. The staff were great and there's plenty of parking. No complaints about any of that. Maybe the other dishes are worth trying but there are many better fish fries out there.
